Description:
The morning of 30th January, 2020 became resplendent with vigour and enthusiasm as a “Cross Country Race” for Sub Juniors was organized in St. Francis Convent School, Sikandra. The students of a class 4 & 5 participated in it. The motive of the race was “Fit India Movement”.
“A dream doesn’t become a reality by magic. It takes sweat determination and hard work.”
Our respected Principal Sr. Zita and Vice Principal Sr. Ambika inaugurated the event. Total 60 boys and 73 girls participated in the race.
In both the categories students won the trophies and 10 consolation prizes were also given. The event was organized under the guidance of sports teachers Mr. Pawan Singh and Mrs. Poonam Midha. Rev. Sr. Zita, Rev. Sr. Ambika and Rev. Sr. Therasina distributed prizes. Rev. Sr. Zita encouraged the students by emphasizing on the importance of physical exercise especially in today’s sedentary lifestyle.
The program concluded with the “National Anthem”.
